Through this presentation, attendees will be educated on some of the most important aspects in protecting their organization from a data breach. The presenters will provide high-level training on cybersecurity, including what data should be protected, the costs associated with a breach, what hackers and cyber-criminals typically seek, and the types of cyber schemes utilized to obtain data. Additionally, the presenters will review types of security policies that can be implemented to protect the organization, including critical components that must be outlined in those policies. Lastly, the presenters will discuss the development of an incident response plan, how to handle and manage third-party service provider or business associate agreements, and the creation of an employee training policy.
