Our PCP's have recently received letters from Tufts Health Plan regarding "radiation exposure levels" in Tufts Health Plan members. Obviously these are estimates based on claims data since they are not issuing radiation exposure badges to these patients.
Unfortunately, these letters are unaccompanied by any information regarding "best practice" for taking action, or not, regarding these levels of exposure.
Has anyone else had experience with insurers sending this information either to PCP's or directly to their members?
