We have had a couple of instances where a patient has brought a boyfriend/husband into their hospital room and engaged in sexual activities despite the staff advising against. Patient disregards staff when they walk into the room and continues the activity. I would like to know how each of you handle. Do you call security? Do you limit visitors to the patient? Do you advise the patient that if he/she continues they will be discharged? This activity is bothering other patients as well.
