I would greatly appreciate hearing how you are managing the patient identification process in your outreach programs when providing health screening of the under served and undocumented populations. We find it is an even greater problem when we identify a need to refer individuals for additional diagnostics and treatments.
In the normal course of business we require two identifiers one of which must be a photo ID. A large percentage of the undocumented populations are transient migrant workers and have no identifying documents whatsoever ie. electric or utilities bill.
